Residing in Seoul, disguised as a classic businessman, Xui is a human reincarnation of Death. He claims to humans that he is emplpyed at Loan Lee Corporations, but in reality, his work is otherworldly, visiting people who have passed away in their dreams to take them to heaven or hell.

Though being human means he must deal with the trivial downfall of emotions and sympathy.

Reaping souls and taking those from their loved ones makes him spite God as a cruel force more and more, but he cannot let humans live forever, he must do his bidding.
